Christopher Tidwell Sr.

A Tampa native, Christopher began diving in 2017 and has since completed more than 500 dives. In 2024, he became a dive professional, turning his passion for the underwater world into an opportunity to introduce others to scuba and help certified divers continue developing their skills.
As a United States Marine and Firefighter/EMT, Christopher brings a background built around preparation, situational awareness, staying calm under pressure, and taking care of the people around you.
His teaching philosophy isn't about simply checking off skills and issuing a certification card. It's about developing safe, capable, confident divers who understand what they're doing—and genuinely enjoy being underwater.
